We’re looking for a Spain -based Payroll Specialist who’s fluent in Spanish and English and ready to play a key role in shaping the future of payroll operations across Spain and beyond.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage end-to-end Spain payroll processing, ensuring full compliance with local employment and tax regulations.
* Review, verify, and submit payroll data accurately and on time.
* Be the main point of contact for clients running monthly payroll cycles in Spain, providing exceptional support and guidance.
* Maintain strong relationships with payroll, benefits, and accounting partners.
* Ensure full data integrity while continuously looking for ways to simplify and improve existing processes.
* Collaborate with global teams to drive innovation and efficiency in payroll delivery.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience managing in-house payroll for Spain.
* Solid understanding of local payroll legislation, tax rules, and statutory filings.
* Confident using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or SAP.
* Fluent in Japanese and English — written and spoken.
* A problem-solver’s mindset with great attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
* A proactive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for making things better every day.
