A leading international food producer, well-established in Northern Europe and known for supplying high-quality meat products to major supermarket chains such as Lidl and Aldi, is expanding its operations in Spain. Over the past two years, the company has successfully entered the Spanish market, with clients in Alicante, Tenerife, and beyond. To continue this growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to lead commercial efforts across the region.
Your Mission
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with supermarket chains and food distributors across Spain.
Identify and convert new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
Conduct regular client visits, product presentations, and relationship-building meetings on-site.
Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth product delivery and client satisfaction.
Lead negotiations around pricing and commercial terms.
Regularly report sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and key meetings.
Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals.
What We’re Looking For
Minimumof 7 years of experience in sales, ideally within the food industry or in meat product distribution.
A strong commercial network and deep understanding of the Spanish retail and distribution landscape .
Experience working with major supermarket chains and/or national food distributors.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both with clients and cross-functional teams.
Proactive, autonomous, and results-driven.
Fluent in Spanish (native) and professional English required.
Willingness to travel frequently across Spain .
