CPX (reporting to the Head of Contract Management and supporting the Heads of Construction & Project Managers) is, within Customer Project Execution Department, responsible to support the implementation of the Projects regarding the fulfillment of the contractual rights and obligations arising from the contracts for all projects executed in the region.
Responsibilities
1. Analyze and reach a clear understanding of the Subcontractor's Contract and corresponding Annexes for cranes, manpower and others, as well as elaborate the necessary documentation to support the Project Manager on the proper understanding of the rights and obligations.
2. Provide contractual analysis and guidance linked to the events shared by the Project team.
3. Drafting and organizing Contractual Notices, response to subcontractor's Letters or any other notification, within the project strategy and business constraints.
4. Support on the claim (extensions of time event and extra costs) preparations and corresponding negotiations.
5. Follow-up internal approvals & compliance documentation.
6. Reporting, analysis and evaluation of projects outcome/results to optimize cost and profitability of Vestas projects. Provide contractual feedback to different stakeholders/management within a developing strategy to improve future contracts clauses.
Qualification
1. Industrial Engineer, Bachelor's degree, or related studies.
2. Minimum 5 year experience in Contract Management or similar position.
3. Experience in EPC contracts, managing the civil works and electrical subcontractor's contracts would be beneficial.
4. Advanced level of English is required. French or Spanish would be beneficial.
5. Skills in business understanding and information/data analysis.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Capacity to prioritize.
