We are looking for an accountant for Business Accounting team focused on Financial Closing operations for Mercedes Benz Mobility companies in Germany. You´ll work closely with the department Finance Operations (FO) Mercedes-Benz Mobility (MBM) German Hub in Stuttgart responsible for R2R.
The Department Mercedes-Benz Mobility (MBM) German Hub in Stuttgart is part of Finance Operations Organization Mercedes-Benz Group AG and focuses on financial closing processes for financing, leasing, and manufacturer lease agreements of the German entities. We report the IFRS and HGB monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for, among others, the Mercedes-Benz Bank Group (MBB) and Mercedes-Benz Leasing Deutschland GmbH (MBLD).

For this exciting and challenging area of responsibility, we are looking for an experienced and motivated team member with financial closing expertise and German knowledge.
Your tasks will include:
* Preparation of annual/quarterly/monthly financial statements according to accounting regulations IFRS and preferable HGB, and RechKredV in your area of responsibility
* Ensuring the complete Internal Control System and work instructions within the area of responsibility.
* Active participation in projects (ensuring specific requirements, documentation, and testing in a product-organization approach).
* Coordination and communication with all stakeholders and departments for smooth cooperation.
Qualifications:
* Business administration degree with a focus on finance and national/international accounting.
* Good knowledge of International accounting frameworks IFRS. Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB, and RechKredV) is a plus.
* Experience in preparation of stand-alone financial statements.
* Strong knowledge of compliance processes and external audit preparation.
* Knowledge of Financing and Leasing accounting is an advantage.
* System knowledge in SAP FI, BI data processing. Knowledge of MIF is an advantage.
* Knowledge in conducting and documenting tests by system releases is also beneficial.
* Native/ Proficient German language skills is required.
