Job Description:
HP's Large Format Printing Finance team is seeking a strong analyst to provide financial guidance, scenario modeling/analysis, and support to the Large Format Division, particularly for New Product Introductions.
The Senior Financial Analyst for New Product Introductions will partner with various teams to drive capital strategies that support operational activities and strategic investments, aiming to maximize return on investment for the division and the company.
Key success factors include strategic thinking, complex financial analysis skills, and strong communication abilities. The analyst should be a collaborative partner capable of engaging with teams such as Future Product Marketing, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Region Category.
Responsibilities:
* Provide financial leadership and business insights to meet revenue, gross margin, market share, and operating profit goals.
* Develop and implement financial processes to enable profitable growth.
* Support New Product Introductions with data-driven assumptions and business model consultations.
* Assist in shifting business models to explore new market opportunities for services and software.
* Create financial models to analyze margin profiles and cost structures.
* Collaborate with other teams to develop integrated performance views.
* Generate reports on profitability by business, region, and product, and analyze variances quarterly.
* Communicate findings effectively to management at all levels, including presenting analytical results and financial reports.
* Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to extract and present data insights.
Education & Experience:
Preferred:
* Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
* 10+ years of relevant experience in financial management, internal audit, or accounting.
Certifications (Preferred):
* CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
* CFA (Certified Financial Analyst)
Knowledge & Skills:
Expertise in accounting, financial analysis, modeling, planning, and reporting systems, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Cross-Organizational Skills:
Effective communication, results-oriented mindset, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer focus.
Impact & Scope:
This role impacts large functions and leads cross-divisional teams or projects, providing innovative solutions to complex problems within established policies.
