Title: SailPoint Developer / IAM Engineer
Location: Spain / Europe (Hybrid)
We are searching for a SailPoint Developer / Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer to support one of our global pharmaceutical organisations in Spain. This is a hands-on, high-impact role within a global life sciences leader, helping to shape the next generation of IAM services and automation.
Why this role?
You’ll join a team driving a major modernisation of IAM—designing and optimising automated workflows, integrating test automation into CI/CD, and ensuring robust compliance across the identity lifecycle. You’ll work closely with a Spain-based team, with regular in-person workshops that accelerate onboarding, collaboration, and delivery.
The Opportunity: What You’ll Do
* Develop & enhance SailPoint solutions (IdentityIQ preferred) and IAM workflows (joiner–mover–leaver, access requests, certifications)
* Automate identity lifecycle processes and compliance activities (e.g., access recertification) using scripting and APIs (PowerShell, Python, REST)
* Embed test automation in CI/CD pipelines; maintain robust, audit-ready test suites; support regression and platform reliability
* Monitor & operate the SailPoint/ IAM environment; troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and contribute to platform stability
* Collaborate across engineering, security, and product teams to set best practices and help define a new target architecture
What You Bring
* SailPoint expertise (IdentityIQ strongly preferred) and solid understanding of IAM fundamentals (policies, entitlements, joiner–mover–leaver)
* Java proficiency for SailPoint development/customisations, plus scripting (PowerShell and/or Python) and REST API experience
* Familiarity with CI/CD and modern toolchains (e.g., Bitbucket/Git, Jira, Confluence); experience integrating automation into pipelines
* Experience with test automation (frameworks/tools agnostic) and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
* Clear, structured problem-solving mindset; strong communication in English (Spanish is a plus)
Nice to Have
* Hands-on with Azure AD / Entra and broader IAM ecosystem
* ITIL understanding (change, incident, problem) and experience in regulated environments
* Background in life sciences or other highly regulated sectors
Work Model & Location
* Spain-based candidates preferred; proximity to Barcelona or willing to travel advantageous for workshops and onboarding
* Hybrid: day-to-day remote with in-person workshops ~ monthly sometimes less (2–3 days); willingness to come on-site for onboarding and key sessions
