What You'll Do
Support commercial and category/product initiatives for the Wilson Racket business in EMEA. The Commercial Manager will analyze channels and customer data to identify growth opportunities, enable the sales team to meet KPIs, and develop regional commercial strategies aligned with global goals. The role involves leading specific actions such as S&OP reviews, engaging with the global team, and managing projects under the guidance of the Senior Regional Commercial Manager.
Specific Responsibilities
1. Become a regional expert on category ranges, key products, distribution, end-user benefits, and pricing strategies.
2. Manage commercial plans for selected categories in collaboration with the RCM.
3. Validate regional product range plans against consumer and channel opportunities.
4. Conduct market research through field visits at both team member and key account levels.
5. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Demand, and DSC on forecasting and inventory planning to support assortment strategies.
6. Develop strategies for end-of-life inventory and inventory management.
7. Lead monthly EMEA S&OP calls to share business updates and forecasts.
8. Create reports and dashboards for decision-making, utilizing tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
9. Develop business tools in coordination with Sales Operations and Key Account Managers.
10. Ensure retail tools and assets are up-to-date and effective, including product catalogs and pre-order tools.
11. Provide consumer insights and product opportunities for future planning.
12. Support sales meetings with product expertise and lead product and commercial meetings with key accounts.
13. Coordinate with Sales Operations and Demand/Supply teams on range planning and system setup.
14. Maintain communication with warehouse teams to ensure smooth delivery and launch of products.
15. Oversee operational deployment and inventory allocations across channels and customer segments.
What We're Looking For
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in category, merchandising, or product management roles.
