Looking for a senior audit role where you can really influence how a integral business operates? Our client, is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing internal audit team in Madrid. This is a chance to work in the logistics sector, with visibility across an international group and real backing from senior leadership.
The role:
You’ll run end to end internal audits across operational and financial areas, helping strengthen controls, manage risk and improve how the business works.
What you’ll be doing:
Plan and deliver internal audits in line with IIA standards
Identify risks and recommend practical improvements
Use data analytics to improve audit insight
Work closely with stakeholders on actions and fixes
Track progress and report clearly to leadership
What we’re looking for:
5 years plus internal audit experience
Strong knowledge of risk, controls, IFRS, COSO or IIA standards
Confident communicator with a hands on mindset
Degree in accounting, finance or similar
Professional certification CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA or similar preferred
