Position Overview
- As Project Senior Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the development of offshore transportation and installation engineering, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, technical requirements, and project objectives.
- You will act as a technical reference within the engineering team, overseeing documentation, calculations, and design deliverables, and managing the interface with clients, contractors, and internal departments.
- This role combines technical leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and a strong focus on safety, quality, and constructability in offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review offshore transportation and installation (T&I;) procedures, drawings, and technical documentation. Apply and interpret subsea installation standards, regulations, and specifications relevant to offshore operations.
- Contribute to the design, calculation, and verification of lifting and installation equipment, including metallic structures.
- Coordinate and validate engineering interfaces with fabrication, procurement, and construction teams.
- Manage communication and technical alignment with clients, subcontractors, and classification societies.
- Participate in technical risk assessments, constructability reviews, and HSE compliance evaluations.
- Ensure consistency and quality across project deliverables and timelines.
- Prepare technical reports, design notes, and engineering summaries supporting project milestones.
Requirements (M/F/D)
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Marine, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in offshore engineering, preferably within Transportation & Installation (T&I;) or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with Offshore Wind, Oil & Gas, or heavy industrial sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in metallic structure calculations. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (advanced level);
experience with calculation or design software is an advantage.
- English fluency– able to work effectively in international project environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and organized approach to work.
