Tax CoE Process Expert (Indirect Tax)
We are seeking a Tax CoE Process Expert to join a multinational company dedicated to enhancing people's quality of life through innovative products and services.
Purpose
Join our Global Business Services (GBS) team as a Global Indirect Tax Process Expert within our Tax Center of Excellence (CoE). You will lead transformative initiatives in tax determination, ensuring compliance and efficiency across global invoice processes. Your role involves providing expert guidance, leveraging your tax expertise and IT skills to implement process improvements, automation, and data analytics. You will collaborate with the Global Process Owner (GPO) organization, develop training programs, and influence global process design in indirect taxes.
Qualifications
* B/BS/MBA in Accounting and/or Tax, preferably with IT knowledge
* At least 4 years of relevant experience in tax, including tax compliance and systems
* Strong understanding of indirect tax processes, compliance, and enterprise processes
* Proficiency with SAP ECC, S4, Taxmarc, and other tax engines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Fluent in English; German is a plus
Responsibilities
* Analyze and resolve issues in tax determination within ECC and S4 environments
* Consult on business scenarios related to tax determination
* Maintain and update tax determination tables in SAP systems
* Design and configure tax determination scenarios for compliance
* Translate business requirements into system configurations
* Lead projects on new business scenarios and process implementations
* Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using automation and analytics
* Coordinate with tax advisors and ensure adherence to governance
* Develop and deliver training programs for process and system changes

* Experienced in tax compliance, with a solid understanding of global indirect tax processes
* Skilled in IT tools and digital process transformation
* Proactive, analytical, and capable of leading change
* Excellent communicator and team player in a global environment
* Customer-oriented with strong change management skills
* Fluent in English; German proficiency is advantageous
