Social Media & Paid Media Trainee
Duration: 6 months
This trainee position is designed for students who want hands-on
experience in digital and social media marketing within a integral hospitality
brand. The role focuses on learning through practice, supporting both
paid social media and organic social media activities
under the guidance of experienced team members.
You'll rotate between the two areas, gaining exposure to how
social media content and advertising work together across platforms such as
Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn. This is a supervised role with a strong emphasis on
skill development, collaboration, and feedback.
Organic Social Media & Content
You'll support the organic social media team, focusing on content,
trends, and daily channel activity.
What you'll learn and support:
- Support the monitoring
of global social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Assist in sourcing and
organizing user-generated content
- Support the activation
of social media campaigns and content rollouts
- Learn how to research
social media trends and platform updates
- Take part in creative
brainstorming and content ideation sessions
- Support short-form
content creation and adaptation for different markets
Assist with basic blog drafting and content optimization for
social distribution
Paid Social Media
You'll support the paid social media team and learn the
fundamentals of social media advertising.
What you'll learn and support:
- Learn how paid social
media campaigns are set up across different platforms
- Support ad creation,
audience selection, and campaign launches
- Assist with basic
performance monitoring and data collection
- Learn how to understand
key metrics and campaign results
- Support the preparation
of simple performance reports
- Help identify basic
trends or observations from campaign data
Learn how paid and organic social media work together across the
funnel
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a
university program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a
related field
- Strong interest in
social media, digital marketing, and online platforms
- Familiarity with social
media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Interest in learning the
basics of paid social media and performance marketing
- Comfortable working with
numbers and simple reports
- Basic video editing
skills (e.g. CapCut) are a plus
- Organized,
detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Good communication
skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in written and
spoken English; another European language is a plus
