We are seeking a skilled and user-centric UX Designer with 5-6 years of experience to join our team for a 100% remote project with one of our clients.

What are we looking for?
A UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, compliant, and engaging web applications for connected access control systems.
You will help shape a responsive, cloud-hosted IoT platform for remote monitoring and control of automatic doors and access points, adhering to IEC60839 and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct user research and journey mapping for access control and security management workflows.
* Design scalable web interfaces for multiple devices using responsive design.
* Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, and prototypes with Figma .
* Extend and maintain design systems and UI libraries ensuring consistency and accessibility.
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to define interfaces reflecting system health and user control.
* Perform usability testing and iterate based on feedback and analytics.
* Ensure compliance with IEC60839 standards, including logging and auditability.
* Design for real-time, cloud-based IoT environments, handling edge cases and connection issues.
* Document UX decisions and participate in agile processes.
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related .
* Experience with physical products with GUIs in industrial settings is very important.
* 5+ years designing web applications, preferably for B2B SaaS or IoT platforms .
* Proficiency in Figma .
* Understanding of REST APIs, event-driven UI, and real-time UX .
* Knowledge of user authentication, role-based access, and activity auditing .
* Experience with cloud-hosted applications, focusing on latency, security, and observability.
