Tasks and responsibilities Drive end-to-end UX research and design - from initial discovery and concept development to prototyping and final visual design. Deeply understand user needs by conducting interviews, usability tests, and analytical evaluations; translate insights into clear personas, user journeys, and actionable recommendations. Create and iteratively refine prototypes to rapidly validate ideas and continuously improve solutions. Ensure accessibility and design consistency, including adherence to design systems, standards, and guidelines. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and key stakeholders, and communicate findings and design decisions in a clear and compelling way. Continuously identify, assess, and prioritize user pain points to drive measurable improvements across the platform experience. Requirements Master's degree in human-centered design, psychology, business informatics, or a comparable field, or a bachelor's degree/vocational training with extensive relevant professional experience. Several years of experience as a UX researcher/designer in complex, technical environments (e.g., global data platforms) and/or in a scientific context (e.g., pharmaceuticals, medicine, research). Experience working with enterprise platforms for data and AI applications. Comfortable translating research into personas, jobs-to-be-done, and user journeys for data/AI personas; ability to quantify impact (e.g., time to first insight, task success rates, adoption). Proficiency in user research, information architecture, prototyping (e.g., Figma Make), user journey mapping, and visual design and experience with design systems and accessibility (WCAG). Structured, independent working style; enjoy working in cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
