As an Industrial Service & Installation Technician, you will be the go-to technical expert for equipment installations, customer training, remote troubleshooting, and service documentation. Main Responsibilities:
Lead on-site installation of industrial devices at customer facilities across Europe
Deliver high-quality operator and maintenance training to enable customer self-service
Act as the first line of support for technical issues, diagnosing most problems remotely through structured troubleshooting
Maintain detailed case records in the CRM, ensuring transparent tracking of issues, resolutions, and field learnings
Produce technical guides, videos, and step-by-step service materials for the global knowledge base
Collaborate closely with engineering teams, manufacturing partners, and global technical specialists to escalate complex issues and contribute to product improvements
Partner with Sales, Application Specialists, and other internal teams to ensure aligned communication and high customer satisfaction
Attend industry events and support demonstrations when needed
Stay current on new procedures, components, and updates related to the product line
Perform additional duties that support the successful rollout of this new industrial product category
Core Skills/Experience:
Strong electromechanical knowledge, ideally with experience supporting industrial machinery, robotics, automation systems, or digital printing equipment
Ability to logically troubleshoot complex systems (mechanical, electrical, software)
Familiarity with inkjet technology, RIPs, design software, or digital imaging workflows is highly beneficial
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, connectivity troubleshooting)
Experience in technical service, field engineering, or installation within industrial equipment or digital printing environments
Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to train operators and explain technical concepts clearly
Experience creating service documentation or providing structured technical training is a plus
Outstanding customer service, presentation, and training abilities
Highly independent, proactive, and solution-oriented
Organized and efficient in managing multiple cases and priorities.
Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Europe when required (70%)
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
