Monitoring Administrator / Specialist – Fujitsu
Join Fujitsu as a Monitoring Administrator / Specialist, responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing a wide range of monitoring tools and ensuring optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
* Deploy and configure monitoring systems including Nagios, Zabbix, CheckMK, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
* Set up infrastructure and application monitoring for servers, networks, databases, and applications.
* Define and configure alerting policies, thresholds, and escalation procedures for proactive incident detection.
* Integrate log management tools for real‑time log analysis and troubleshooting.
* Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Ansible to streamline monitoring configurations and incident responses.
* Create dashboards and reports in Grafana and other visualization tools.
* Administer Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022) including configurations and maintenance.
* Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO), troubleshooting as required.
* Monitor and optimize system performance, including capacity planning and resource allocation.
* Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems.
Essential Qualifications
* Extensive experience in monitoring system deployment and management.
* Deep knowledge of infrastructure and application monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
* Proficiency in log and event management, automation, scripting, and dashboard creation.
* Strong Windows Server administration skills.
* Solid understanding of Active Directory and system performance optimization.
* Experience installing and configuring Linux systems.
Desired Certifications
* Azure AZ-900 or AZ-104 certification.
* ITIL Foundation certification.
Education
* Superior Technician in Management of Compute Systems or a degree in Computer Engineering.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years in the IT sector, with at least 3 years in a similar monitoring/administration role.
Language
* English proficiency at B2/C1 level.
