Role: Business Development Manager

This position will focus on driving the growth of a digital SaaS solution tailored for the utility-scale BESS industry. The product has a strong track record of deployment as part of wider energy solutions, but success in this role will require a strategic approach, close collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to use market feedback to enhance the platform and position it effectively.
Essential Experience
* Demonstrated success in selling digital solutions within the utility-scale BESS market
* Strong presentation skills and proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders
* Technical understanding sufficient to lead initial client consultations
Desired Background
* Experience selling digital solutions into BESS markets in one or more of: UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland, or Spain
* Track record of selling solutions into Developers, Utilities, or EPCs (in order of preference)
* Previous experience in a Digital Solutions business or with a BESS OEM
This is the first role of its kind, giving you a completely blank slate to shape it in your own way. You’ll have full autonomy and take complete ownership of every project, with the opportunity to define how the position evolves.
