Responsibilities Manage OEM/OES Projects (Component, System with known technology components, ...)
Responsible for achieving the Project KPI in terms of profitability (product/development vs Development Activity Payback and Extended Margin), Quality and Production Preparation
Secure Project resources and control them
Drive the Associated P2 Actors in case of P2 not completed in P1
Resolve project issues requiring support from suitable functions via the Project Escalation
Check and validate Project Team Members' activities and propose timing scenarios to achieve milestones
Conduct concept competitions to obtain customer orders where appropriate
Define and manage the budget including the budget of the Projects part of his/her Project/System
Define scope of projects
Prepare decision-making processes for relevant committees and challenge project team readiness
Prepare and submit CAA and IAR (Project/System level) and challenge the P1 Project Managers or Launch Managers of the Projects part of his/her Project/System
Manage all project changes (internal and customer) and coordinate them through his team
Apply Design to Cost methodology
Escalate gaps versus targets at the right level and with relevant speed/anticipation
Lead AAI and development of all PTMs from his team
Functionally responsible for all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Members
Communications Manage communication with Customers on Project development progress
Keep clients updated on Project progress
Prepare/validate reports on Project development progress to PSC and PMC and to all Governance stages when required
Manage customer relationships (local and central) and coordinate communication within his team and with P2/P1 projects
Ensure management of Escalation if any
Values and Standards Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the System/Project teams and ensure their application

Respect health, safety and environment requirements
Ensure Project (System or not) development in compliance with Valeo standards
Requirements Electronic/Industrial Engineering degree
Good level of English
Personal skills to manage a functional organization
Financial skills about product cost structure, payback
Product Development process knowledge and practice (5/7 years)
Successful development experience in a Project development function (2/3 years)
Experience in other development functions (Quality, Process, Sales, Purchasing), at least two
Geographical mobility (one-site position)
