As the Space Business Unit of Indra Group, we combine cutting-edge technology with a full value chain approach—from satellite design and integration to ground segment and operations. Define and lead the satellite power and data distribution architecture, including interface boards, umbilicals, power distribution units and conversion electronics.Translate mission requirements into power and data distribution concepts, grounding strategies and EMC performance criteria.Lead trade-off analyses between architectures such as point-to-point, backplane or direct connection approaches.Generate and maintain electrical, grounding, EMC, harness requirements, EICDs, and subsystem interface specifications.Develop power budgets, energy balance analysis and end-of-life sizing for different mission scenarios.Support AIT activities including functional, thermal vacuum and load test campaigns.Act as technical authority during project reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR).Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, V&V and systems teams to define system-level specifications.Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.Prepare system specifications, design reports, test plans and other technical documentation.A recognized engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields.Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite electrical design and development, including flight projects.Strong knowledge of spacecraft solar arrays, battery technologies and power electronics.Proficiency with system analysis tools such as MATLAB, Simulink or Altium.Experience in aeronautical/aerospace electrical architecture.Experience with EGSE and satellite test environments in phases C/D.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary engineering domains.High-level English (spoken and written).Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
