About The Project
We have recently been awarded a Public-Private Collaboration (CPP) research grant funded by the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI). This three-year collaborative project with leading academic partners aims to develop a commercial model for measuring human red blood cell fragility in humanized mice in vivo. At TAD, our role focuses on translating this research into a sustainable commercial and scientific line in experimental hematology by the end of the project — a foundation for future growth within the company.
About The Role
We are seeking a Research Scientist in Hematology (PhD) to join our R&D team. The position is initially funded for three years through the CPP project, with the clear intention of establishing a long-term research and business area under your leadership. You will work closely with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and collaborate with international pharmaceutical partners and research institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and conduct experiments on experimental hematology and red blood cell fragility in humanized murine models.
Perform and interpret flow cytometry analyses and related assays.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure scientific excellence and commercial viability of the model.
Contribute to publications, reports, and potential commercialization pathways.
Help define the strategic direction of TAD's future hematology research unit.
Requirements
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) obtained or to be awarded before November ****.
Strong background in hematology with hands‐on experience in murine models.
Experience with flow cytometry; ability to interpret results.
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) — the role involves interaction with international pharma collaborators.
Proactive mindset, scientific integrity, and interest in translating research into real‐world impact.
