The 3D Imaging Lab Manager is responsible for the operational leadership, clinical quality oversight, and strategic advancement of the organization's centralized 3D post-processing and reconstruction services across both CT and MRI modalities. This role oversees all aspects of day-to-day 3D lab operations, including staffing, workflow design, case distribution, turnaround time performance, and technology utilization to ensure consistent, high-quality advanced imaging support for radiologists and referring providers.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- Provide operational oversight and performance of centralized 3D post-processing services across CT and MRI, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely reconstruction deliverables that meet radiologist expectations, clinical standards, and turnaround time requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality and data integrity in all imaging workflows.

- Maintain a high level of visibility and engagement with 3D lab staff, radiologists, modality leaders, IT/PACS teams, and operational leadership. Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development of 3D lab personnel. Conduct competency assessments, annual evaluations, and coaching to ensure staff readiness and skill advancement.

- Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards applicable to advanced imaging and post-processing services. Identify, investigate, and mitigate quality, safety, or workflow risks that may impact diagnostic integrity or service continuity. Coordinate with IT, vendors, and operations to promptly resolve system or service disruptions while maintaining accurate documentation.

- Collaborate closely with radiologists and clinical leadership to ensure CT and MRI protocols, reconstruction standards, and advanced visualization workflows are current, standardized, and aligned with diagnostic requirements. Serve as a consultative resource for complex cases, workflow optimization, and enterprise advanced imaging initiatives.

- Actively participate in operational huddles, leadership meetings, and enterprise forums to communicate performance, risks, and opportunities. Develop and present regular reporting on volume, turnaround times, productivity, and quality metrics. Partner with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) teams to support financial integrity related to advanced imaging services, including alignment on coding workflows, documentation requirements, charge capture accuracy, and issue resolution related to CT and MRI 3D post-processing services. Partner with operations and finance to support staffing models, forecasting, and fiscally responsible resource utilization.

- Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of centralized imaging services, enterprise growth initiatives, and operational excellence.

Position Requirements:

- Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience

- At minimum CT certification from the ARRT or ARMRIT

- CPR Certification.

- Valid state driver's license, as applicable.

- 2+ years of leadership in MR or CT or imaging role.

- Must be self-motivated and encourage a positive work environment which promotes staff engagement and superior delivery of patient care.

- Must have strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills. The role will require promotion of developing staff skill sets by acting as a supportive leader to drive change, promote compassionate care delivery and manage cultural change amongst technical staff.

- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Preferred:

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

- 5 years of scanning experience

Physical Requirements:

The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease, communicable disease when interacting with patients, environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel.

- More than 50% of the time

- Sit, stand, walk

- Repetitive motion, eye sight, speech/hearing (able to communicate with patients)

- Less than 50% of the time

- Carry and lift weight (Ability to move non-ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or to exam)

- Stoop, kneel or crawl

- Climb and balance
