An international company operating in the Food & Beverage ingredients sector is currently recruiting a Customer Operations Specialist to support its French-speaking customer portfolio. The role sits at the intersection of customer service, sales support, and order management, ensuring a high level of service across the full order-to-cash cycle.
This position works closely with Key Account Managers and regional commercial teams, acting as a key operational contact for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for French-speaking customers, coordinating closely with sales and internal teams.
* Manage customer orders end to end, from order entry through shipment and invoicing.
* Validate customer data at order stage, including pricing, commercial terms, exceptions, and specific logistics requirements.
* Handle customer and internal enquiries related to product availability, quality, substitutions, inventory levels, order status, pricing, billing, and invoicing.
* Support the sales team with account-related operational issues, including carrier incidents and delivery constraints.
* Address customer complaints promptly, ensuring appropriate follow-up and escalation where required.
* Maintain accurate customer and account records to ensure efficient billing and documentation.
* Ensure adherence to internal processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
Profile Sought
* Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
* At least 3 years' experience in a customer service, customer operations, or sales support environment.
* Fluent French and English are essential (written and spoken).
* Experience working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ERP systems (i.e. SAP Business One).
* Familiarity with import/export documentation is a plus.
* Previous exposure to the food and beverage industry is advantageous.
