The research will combine fieldwork, water and sediment sampling, laboratory analyses, and numerical modelling to improve our understanding of human-induced hydrogeological impacts and contaminant dynamics on these sensitive systems.

Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent.
Requirements Qualifications : Applicants should have a Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrochemistry, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, or related fields.
Competences : Experience in one or more of the following skills will be highly valued: hydrogeological/hydrological/hydrochemical assessment and modelling (FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SWAT, PHREEQC), geographic information systems (ArcGIS, QGIS), remote sensing, and scientific writing.
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary, international team.
What We Offer Estimated annual salary: €20,000 (Year 1) and €25,000 (Years 2–4).
Location: Barcelona (possibility of partial remote work).
Target starting date: January **** (tentative).
