We are now hiring a Senior Group Legal Counsel to join Strategic Sourcing and Projects Legal Affairs, a new unit within Ericsson's Group Function Legal Affairs (GFLA) which is focused on strengthening contracting with our most critical suppliers across the globe - from semiconductor supply for our leading networks business; to inbound licensing of software for our telecoms software business; to critical internal IT and outsourced services. Whilst the main focus of this role will be in the supplier contracting space, we encourage active collaboration and you can expect to work closely with highly skilled legal professionals in all other legal teams at Ericsson including, in particular, Products and Technology; and Global Disputes. Of particular interest are applicants with significant experience of contracting in one or more of the following areas:
OEM software licensing (i.e. licensing of third-party software for inclusion in Ericsson software or hardware);
Complex IT / facility management outsourcing agreements; Provide legal advice to, and influence, Ericsson stakeholders - at all levels of the company - involved in the selection, contracting and management of Ericsson suppliers.
Provide trainings on relevant legal and contractual issues to stakeholders and to other lawyers across Ericsson.
Actively and extensively collaborate with other lawyers across the Ericsson legal community.
Be involved in wider contracting improvement initiatives and projects across the Ericsson Group.
Law degree or law qualification of equivalent standing from a leading university or law school.
Preferably 7 years or more of experience as a commercial, technology and/or corporate lawyer, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
High proficiency in English.
