For our office in Madrid, Aquila Capital is seeking a Tax Specialist (f / m / d).
Your Responsibilities
* Support in the preparation and review of direct and indirect tax compliance (CIT, VAT, withholding taxes, stamp duty, business activity tax, etc.) including monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
* Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations, prepare CIT provisions, and support tax audits and communications with Tax Authorities.
* Prepare writs to be submitted before the Tax Authorities.
* Assist in analyzing tax topics related to Aquila Group Corporate entities and advise teams to ensure proper tax risk mitigation.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration.
* 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or at a tax advisory firm / Big4.
* Knowledge of the EU tax environment; knowledge of the German tax environment is a plus.
* Advanced written and spoken English.
* Knowledge of German is a plus.
