NoOffer Description The Department of Mathematics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is seeking to recruit five Assistant Professor positions in Applied Mathematics, beginning in September 2025 .We are looking for candidates with a strong research background and teaching ability in areas related to Applied Mathematics, with up to 6 years of postdoctoral research. Their experience should be aligned with or complementing the strengths of the Department.Requirements include:A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related disciplineA strong research record and demonstrated potential for high-impact publicationsExcellent proficiency in English (written and verbal), as faculty are expected to teach courses in English at both undergraduate and graduate levelsA commitment to teaching excellence and departmental serviceConditions of employment:A full-time contract for up to six years, subject to applicable regulationsTeaching load: up to 180 hours per academic year, including course instruction and thesis supervisionBase gross salary of approximately 26,000 €, complemented by university bonuses (see official call for details)Duties include:Teaching and coordination of courses in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at BSc and MSc levelsConducting high-quality research and contributing to the department’s research outputSupervising undergraduate and graduate thesesContributing to departmental responsibilities and academic life#J-18808-Ljbffr
