**Mechanical engineer**
**Main Duties**:
The person in charge of this position would support DEIMOS on the complete life cycle of space structures and GSE including the AIV phase.
**Education**:
Preferred MSc in Aerospace/Industrial Engineering
**Professional Experience**:
0-3 years in relevant positions
**Technical Requirements**:
- Detailed knowledge of space structures cycle of life from specification up to manufacturing and verification
- Knowledge of some space analysis and design tools: CATIA v5, Nastran/Patran
- Knowledge of New Space approach and techniques
- Knowledge of AIV/AIT applied to space missions
- Experience of writing relevant design and requirements documentation
Any of the following skills are desirable:
- Knowledge of the systems and subsystems encompassing a CubeSat
- Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge of micro vibrations applied to space systems
- Technical writing, including user-facing documentation
**Language Skills**:
English (B2 level as minimum)
**Personal Skills**:
