We are looking for a **Staff Fullstack Engineer** to work on a project in the e-commerce industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our client is a B2B SaaS company offering Europe's leading WhatsApp marketing platform and advanced automation. Being a Staff Fullstack engineer means leading talented engineers and exciting projects, to push the frontier of what conversational commerce can become. You will set the bar on how end-to-end product development looks like, from conceptualization to post-launch.
**What you will do**:
- Set the bar on our tech stack: Vue, Typescript, and Node.js, to build scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Lead architectural design and development on our conversational commerce platform.
- Make hard engineering and strategy trade-offs in service of our product vision.
- Orchestrate the decision-making process regarding the selection of front-end technologies and tools.
- Be the liaison between designers, product managers, and engineers to bring our product vision into reality.
**What you will bring**:
- Proven expertise in Node.js.
- Extensive experience in Event-Driven analysis and event Bus creation.
- Hands-on experience, with an eye for Systems Design. Ability to create a backend service for analysis.
- Experience with Databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Quick to adapt, with a knack for rapidly learning new technologies, frameworks, and internal tools.
**Nice to have**:
- Have 5+ years of experience building large-scale complex systems.
- Proven experience with frontend engineering and a solid understanding of at least one modern UI framework (Vue, React, Angular, Svelte). We love Vue.
- Proficiency in Typescript and Node.js.
- Extensive mentorship experience.
- You use code review as a tool to mentor and uphold the standard of the systems you own.
- Strong command of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or another relevant technical field—or equivalent experience.
- Additional experience with Vue 3, Tailwind, Postgres, TDD, Playwright/Cypress, HTML Canvas/WebGL, clean code practices, and an eye for UI performance is a plus.
