Key Responsibilities

* Act as the energy & utilities project lead of the new data center from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with project goals and business objectives.
* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to align on project scope, objectives and design.
* Develop and execute management plans including resource management, cost estimation, scheduling and quality control.
* Supervise the design and construction of power & utilities infrastructure, ensuring timely and budget-aligned delivery.
* Lead regular progress meetings and maintain up-to-date reports on project status, challenges, and milestones.
* Support and manage complex cross-functional HV infrastructure projects from site selection, permitting and contract execution; keep stakeholders informed to support team performance and trust-building.
* Drive decisions, clear blockers, and escalate appropriately to maintain project progress.
* Negotiate with general contractors, evaluate bids, participate in pricing reviews, and negotiate costs with developers, GC and design consultants.
* Evaluate site due diligences, track schedules, and address factors affecting successful hand-over to Ferrovial stakeholders.
* Analyze deliverables from all parties to ensure requirements are met; raise queries and track resolutions.
* Monitor progress and performance to ensure task completion per deadlines; prepare detailed progress reports for decision-making.
* Collaborate with other Ferrovial teams and ensure compliance with Ferrovial guidelines, standards and policies.
* Seize challenges and drive the world forward.


Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mining or Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field. A master’s degree is an advantage.
* Advanced knowledge of high and medium voltage electrical systems.
* Strong understanding of the Spanish Electric System, its regulations, and ability to work with other countries (e.g., Poland, USA).
* At least 3 years of experience with DSOs, TSPs, suppliers and utilities companies.
* Experience in transmission/distribution planning applications, analysis and design.
* Experience in design, permitting and construction of HV/MW substations and underground power lines.
* Understanding of power & utilities operating models and current industry challenges; experience with data center clients is valued.
* Ability to analyze complex situations, identify strategic opportunities and develop actionable plans.
* Ability to draft procedures, compile system documentation, and own technical issue tracking.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.
* Proactive, autonomous, flexible, able to prioritize; anticipates problems and provides solutions.
* Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing industry and solve environmental challenges through business solutions.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and external stakeholder collaboration.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with understanding of contracting principles and legal terms; ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
