Your key responsibilities as Freight Billing Audit Manager (Finance Manager) will include:
Assisting the Commercial Controller in managing all aspects of the FBA&P function within associated contracts to provide accurate information and service to the site, colleagues, and customers. This role supports the FBA&P function, ensuring timely payments to carriers and billing to customers, overseeing freight spend reconciliations, and completing month-end trading processes with valid accruals backed by documentation. Ensuring financial cost controls are in place with support from the FBA&P Assistant Finance Managers.
Key AccountabilitiesFinancial Analysis
* Evaluate customer freight contracts, providing insights into financials, including analysis of high-volume and high-value data.
* Manage freight purchasing and sales ledger, including PO management on Oracle and control of open shipments in TMS across accounts.
* Deliver accurate, complete, and timely charging analysis to customers and resolve queries.
* Proactively manage currency risks through hedging activities.
Control and Governance
* Develop tools to improve financial visibility.
* Ensure all entries to balance sheet accounts are accurate and backed up.
Business Partnering Support
* Support the Financial Controller (FBA&P) in daily operations across multiple sites, currencies, and platforms for accounting, invoicing, and reporting.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department, ensuring alignment with FBA&P strategy.
* Assist in reviewing and managing carrier payments, customer debt, and cash allocation.
* Act as deputy alongside Assistant Finance Managers for the Commercial Controller when needed.
* Coach internal and external stakeholders on FBA&P matters.

* Degree-level education.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
* Fluency in English and the local language.
* Experience with P&L, General Ledger accounts, intercompany reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Knowledge of OTM System.
* Ability to work both in detail and at a high level.
* Experience working across multiple countries and currencies.
* Excellent IT skills, especially MS Excel, with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
* Strong organizational and planning skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to meet strict deadlines.
* Ability to support the Senior Finance Controller on site.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business demands.
