As a Cloud Security Engineer you will design AWS cloud solutions, implement and manage security controls between AWS and Kubernetes EKS environments, conduct threat modelling, code review and penetration testing on the AWS infrastructure, configure and manage web application firewall rules and automate security checks and repetitive tasks to enforce protection at scale.
You'll collaborate with the Platform and Infrastructure teams and participate in investigation and response to security alerts.
Location / WFH:
The company is a big advocate of versátil working and prides itself on DEI; you can work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Madrid office 1-2 days a week; you can also work at times that suit you.
About You
- You have experience with AWS secure design and implementation
- You have experience with Kubernetes / K8s and EKS
- You have experience with a Web Application Firewall e.g. Cloudflare
- You can script using Python (or similar) for automation
- You have a good understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- You have a good knowledge of Cloud Control Frameworks e.g. CIS, CSA, NIST
- You're collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
- Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKS, OSCP, paCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate/Professional, or similar are preferred
