Overview
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) is Spain’s leading supercomputing centre, hosting MareNostrum and EuroHPC JU. The AI Factory is a major European project that promotes AI adoption across industry and public sector. The Public Bodies Key Account Manager will support public organisations in identifying AI opportunities and leveraging BSC AI Factory services.
Key Duties
* Engage with public organisations to identify AI use cases with operational or strategic impact.
* Provide first guidance on AI solution adoption, from ideation to integration.
* Guide public organisations through the BSC AI Factory one‑stop shop to access services and resources.
* Collaborate with technical teams to define realistic AI project scopes, tailored data sources or software tools aligned with constraints for this target group of organisations.
* Propose tailored support activities and services including training, prototype development, and operational deployment targeting public organisations.
Requirements
* Education
o Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences or engineering.
* Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Deep knowledge of public sector innovation drivers (citizen attention, smart cities, territory planning, public safety, social services, etc.).
o Capable of framing AI value propositions around public service delivery and citizen impact.
* Experience in stakeholder engagement activities.
* Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
o Familiarity with public funding projects, especially European funding schemes.
* Competences
o Impeccable verbal and written communication skills (English compulsory).
o Familiarity with project management methodologies and CRM tools.
o Problem‑solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
Conditions
* Location: BSC, Directors Department.
* Full‑time contract (37.5 h/week) with flexible working hours, extensive training plan, restaurant tickets, private health insurance and relocation support.
* Duration: 3 years.
* Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus the 24th and 31st of December according to the collective agreement.
* Salary: competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and according to the cost of living in Barcelona.
* Starting date: May or June.
