About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager – Hospitality to join our growing team in Barcelona. You’ll play a key role in expanding ComAve’s presence in the city, building strong relationships with restaurants, and driving growth in the food delivery space.
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role where you’ll own the full sales cycle: from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
Responsibilities
As a Business Development Manager – Hospitality, you’ll be out in the field and at the heart of ComAve’s growth in Barcelona. Your day-to-day will include:
* Finding new opportunities – research, network, and proactively identify potential restaurant partners.
* Reaching out – connect with prospects through calls, emails, and in-person visits to build strong relationships.
* Pitching with impact – deliver engaging presentations and demos that show the value of partnering with ComAve.
* Owning the sales cycle – manage everything from first contact and follow-ups to closing deals and supporting onboarding.
* Keeping an eye on the market – stay on top of trends, competitor moves, and new restaurant openings.
* Shaping deals – prepare tailored proposals and work closely with leadership on terms and strategies.
Skills & Experience
We’re looking for someone who’s excited about driving growth in the hospitality space and who brings the right mix of experience and mindset :
* Fluent in English (spoken and written) – Spanish is also essential for this role.
* 2–3 years’ experience in a BDM or sales role, ideally in SaaS, POS (e.g. Last.App, Otter, GrubTech…) or food delivery/logistics (e.g. Deliverect, Glovo, Uber Eats, Just Eat…).
* Proven track record in outbound sales – from prospecting and cold calling to managing the full sales cycle.
* Strong communication, negotiation & presentation skills.
* Experience engaging with C-level executives and closing high-value deals.
* Comfortable with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and other sales productivity tools.
* Solid analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
* Used to working remotely in agile teams.
* A self-starter who is proactive, motivated, and thrives in a fast-growing startup environment.

* Background in hospitality, foodservice, or restaurant tech.
* Experience working in startups or other fast-paced environments.
* A structured approach to building a sales pipeline from scratch.
