Opdenergy Overview
Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 21 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor compliance programs (AML, Governance, Codes of Conduct, Data Protection (GDPR), etc.).
- Implement the Compliance and Crime Prevention Management Manual and the Risk Management Model.
- Analyze operations for potential risks and suspicious activities.
- Draft and review policies, procedures, and remediation plans.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and assess business risks.
- Perform audits and generate reports to improve risk and security systems.
- Support regulatory updates and due diligence processes.
- Oversee and support compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR), including coordination of privacy-related controls and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law and specialization in Compliance.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of regulations in the financial sector (AML, GDPR, etc.).
- Proficiency in English and Excel.
- Knowledge of financial markets and risk management systems.
