The maintenance engineer is responsible of the global maintenance of the industrial assets under his/her perimeter.
It is responsibility of the jobholder to assure industrial assets KPIs defined with internal customer. The maintenance engineer must (non-exhaustive list):
- Ensure industrial means KPIs (Technical availability/MTBF/MTTR among others)
- Creates and optimizes maintenance plan
- Control and improve spares and spare management
- Manage and optimize maintenance related budget
- Daily interface with internal customer.
- Monitor and control service suppliers and service KPIs
- Manage end to end maintenance related projects (continuous improvement, sustainability...)
- Participate in new means adquisition
- Create technical specifications and evaluate technical offers
The definition of the jobholder activities is compliant with the European norm EN 15628:2014-10 about Maintenance - Qualification of maintenance personnel and it’s aligned with the strategy of the central department of Industrial Maintenance in Airbus
Besides regular maintenace engineering activities, it is required to have knowledge and experience in safety for industrial assets.It will be highly valuable to have knowledge and experience in:
- R.D. 1215/97 Annex 1 & 2.
- Machines regulation 2006/42/CE. CE certification, risk analysis, regulation for dangerous equipment.
- REBT. EMC/EMI
- Safety in automation: PLCs, networks, interlocking, etc
- Spanish public ministry of industry maintenance legal requirements
In addittion, the follwing skills and knowledge in tools, are desirable:
- Mechanical design (INVENTOR, AUTOCAD, other)
- Electrical design (EPLAN, other)
- PLCs programming (SIEMENS, CODESYS, OMRON, other)
- SCADA development (SIEMENS, PROFACE, other)
- Robot programming (STAUBLI, FANUC, other)
