Job Description
In the role of Account Manager, you are responsible for establishing new customers and partnerships, as well as for the long-term care and development of the assigned customers in the area. Your main focus is to develop Sleep & Respiratory Care (S&RC) activities in Central Spain (Madrid, Extremadura, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla Leon).
Your role :
* Develop, maintain, and improve relations with existing and potential customers in the assigned district / area.
* Develop clinical activities to promote Sleep respiratory products with KOLs in the region.
* Present and explain the local product portfolio, supporting the national promotion & marketing strategy.
* Create the yearly sales plan with sales management to set targets and plan actions and MarCom deliverables.
* Coordinate with the internal order desk to create optimal offers for accounts, initiate customer-tailored sales actions, and support national sales initiatives.
* Monitor the quality of actions, improve contact between internal services and customers to achieve good results.
* Report regularly on sales results, market trends, and competitive activity.
* Manage S&RC activity within the territory.
You are a part of
As an Account Manager, you will be part of the Iberia Sleep & Respiratory Care team within South Europe Philips' commercial division. You will report to the Sales Leader for Sleep & Respiratory Care Iberia.
You're the right fit if you have :
* A clinical background and experience in account management, sales, or project management.
* At least 3 years in a similar role.
* Experience in home respiratory or a respiratory-related field (targeting pulmonologists, pediatricians, ICU, or emergency rooms).
* Negotiation, contracting, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience working with large matrix teams internally and externally.
* Knowledge of local market environments, reimbursement models, public tenders, and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
* A valid driver’s license.
* Willingness to travel.
