Your role as a Site Construction Manager
The Site Construction Manager will possess all skills & experience to plan and supervise a wide range of (general) Contractors & personnel from start to finish. You will actively help the contractors organize and manage construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a safe, timely and efficient manner. A Construction Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the desired results. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Organize and supervise the overall work on site of the project and provide direction and guidance when needed
Ensure compliance on site with safety, health, and quality standards
Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, inspections, and governmental regulations are met
Set performance goals and deadlines for the different contractors
Plan, monitor and ensure proper timely execution of all construction operations, including intermediate phases to ensure accomplishment of project goals
Assist in the creation of all required project schedules, evaluate progress, and present detailed schedule reports
Support the project team in solicitation and procurement of subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and materials
Ensure the implementation of project specific quality control and quality assurance plans in accordance with corporate policy
Identify and resolve problems and conflicts, organizing meetings, and facilitating cooperation among contractors and vendors
Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Evidence of a strong background in Construction Management
Willing to be on site full time
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Working knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with scheduling software such as P6 and Microsoft Project
Self-Starter with ability to identify and execute normal project management duties
Native Spanish language
