Job Description
Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor, responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to:
* Assist guests with menu items in an informative and helpful way
* Take table orders for all food and beverage from the guests.
* Serve guests in a professional and positive manner
* Work behind the bar as a bar server on occasions
* Ensuring the smooth running of each table
* Clear and set out tables ready for next guests
* Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging service
* Exhibit sincere hospitality. Go above and beyond for the guest. Be obsessed with guest satisfaction.
* Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the Point of Sale System
* Understand all reservations systems and iPad systems for seating charts
* Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
* Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methods
* Knowledge of allergen required
* Follow brand policies, procedures and service standards
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
* Follow hotel time and attendance policy
* Follow grooming and attire guidelinesOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Server in high volume food and beverage operation
* Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
* Previous point of sale system experience
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
* Spanish and English languages knowledge
* Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
