We are seeking a skilled and collaborative Strategic Procurement Specialist with strong technical knowledge, that, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, will lead cost-efficient sourcing strategies, secure high-performing suppliers, and ensure excellent quality, delivery reliability, service, and innovation. The selected professional, will work closely with Engineering, Production, R&D, Project Management and Global Sourcing, you will support project execution and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing processes.
Key responsabilities:
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies for the factory, aligned with global procurement objectives.
* Identify, select, and develop suppliers for mechanical, electrical, automation and machining components.
* Evaluate supplier capabilities and performance with a focus on technical competence, delivery reliability, quality and cost competitiveness.
* In cooperation with Global Sourcing, lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and supply conditions.
* Build and maintain a robust supplier base supporting robotics and automation production needs.
* Work closely with Engineering, Project Managers, Production, and Quality to ensure sourcing decisions support manufacturing efficiency, project timelines and product innovation.
* Participate in new product development and industrialization projects, ensuring sourcing readiness and supplier alignment.
* Support teams across locations and foster strong collaboration across European sites.
* Ensure proper implementation of supplier contracts and agreements.
* Work with the in-house legal advisor to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
* Ensure suppliers meet standards for quality, sustainability, and traceability.
* Monitor market trends, technology developments and economic conditions to anticipate cost fluctuations and supply risks.
* Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives, standardization efforts and continuous improvement within procurement.
* Support global sourcing data accuracy and reporting, contributing to procurement digitalization initiatives.
We requiere:
* Familiarity with mechanical drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
* Experience supporting project-based manufacturing or engineered-to-order products.
* Knowledge of ERP systems and procurement tools.
* Strong technical curiosity and ability to understand industrial components and automation systems.
* Hands‑on mindset with readiness to visit workshop, suppliers, and production lines.
