Job Title : Country Manager - South Europe (Based in Spain)
For Spain, Italy, Portugal & France.
At least 8 years of experience developing a new market in the solar industry, specifically selling inverters and home energy storage systems in South Europe, is essential.
Language skills : English & Spanish are a must. Chinese is preferred.
Our client is a leading clean energy solution provider, specializing in module-level inverters and storage systems. Their products cater to residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications. The company is committed to making smart solar energy accessible to everyone, ensuring high-quality and impactful technology.
Responsibilities :
* Sales and Business Development : Promote sales of inverters, home energy storage systems, and micro-inverters in Spain, Italy, Portugal & France. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and revenue growth.
* Market Analysis and Strategy : Conduct thorough market analysis to identify sales opportunities. Develop strategic plans leveraging market trends and customer insights.
* Customer Relationship Management : Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with solar distribution customers. Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
* Team Leadership and Training : Supervise and mentor a team in South Europe (4-6 persons). Ensure team members have excellent skills and knowledge to contribute to the company's success.
* Collaboration and Reporting : Work closely with product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals. Regularly report sales progress and market insights to the General Manager based in Germany.
Job Requirements :
* Fluent in English & Spanish; Chinese is a plus.
* Minimum 8 years of experience developing new markets in the solar industry, specifically selling inverters and home energy storage systems in South Europe (Spain, Italy, Portugal).
* Proven business development experience for residential and C&I applications.
* Deep understanding and successful experience with distribution models.
* Effective management of international teams.
* Ability to analyze markets, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
* Extensive channel management experience and marketing resources.
* Based in Spain and willing to travel 50% of the time.
Salary Range : 90k-140k € gross per year.
