We are offering an indefinite vacancy for an Internal Auditor in the Internal Audit area. Here is some information about the role:
Purpose / Mission of the Position
Adding value to the business by making the risk visible:
Providing risk-based and objective assessment, advice, and insight by evaluating and improving the design and effectiveness of processes and internal control systems, with value-added recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Define the scope of challenging and value-added internal audit engagements.
2. Execute audits according to the internal audit plan, including planning, testing controls, reporting, and validating audit findings.
3. Identify and report shortcomings in internal controls, understand root causes, and propose remediation actions.
4. Design and execute testing plans, utilizing CAATs (IDEA tool).
5. Ensure the quality of work complies with IIA and CAS standards in audit documentation.
6. Collaborate with other CAS auditors within NN Group.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably as an internal auditor, in the insurance sector or related fields like risk management or internal control.
* University degree in ADE, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
* Fluent in English (all work conducted in English).
* Experience with IDEA, Power BI, and Teammate is advantageous.
* Certifications such as CIA, ACCA are a plus; progress in certifications is also considered.
* Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to connect processes end-to-end.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively challenge the status quo.
* Good planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a positive attitude.
