Job Profile :
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration and Mapping Coordinator to lead the data migration activities as part of the CORE S/4HANA Transformation project. This role will focus on ensuring accurate, efficient, and seamless data mapping, validation, cleansing, and coordination with value stream leads/teams, aligning with organizational and CORE program goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP processes/modules, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, data structures, data mapping, cleansing, and cross-functional team collaboration across different cultures.
Role and Responsibilities :
Data Mapping, Migration :
* Support the execution of data scope within respective Value Streams (S2P, R2D, A2R, Quality, CM, Sustainability, PDM).
* Coordinate and support data migration including preparation, mapping, enrichment, transformation, validation, correction, and implementation.
* Plan and execute data scoping and mapping workshops from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Verify extraction criteria, data availability, and ensure data migration compliance with the defined approach.
Data Quality & Validation :
* Drive data requirements and ensure the right data is identified, gathered, and maintained with quality and integrity.
* Establish data quality criteria and oversee cleansing activities.
* Coordinate data validation activities with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
* Perform sanity checks in the target system based on configuration specifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
* Work closely with business, value streams, and technical teams to understand data needs.
* Track progress, address roadblocks, and provide regular updates to leadership.
Documentation and Compliance :
* Maintain detailed documentation of mapping rules, including Data Migration Specification (DMS), Field Mapping Document (FMD), and validation results.
* Ensure compliance with data governance policies and SAP standards.
Risk Management :
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Who You Are :
* Overall 8+ years of experience, with at least 4+ years in SAP data migration projects, preferably with S/4HANA.
* SAP functional knowledge of modules such as FI/CO, MM, QM, PP, MDM, SD, EWM, TM.
* Familiarity with data migration tools, methodologies, and best practices.
* Deep understanding of business processes across value streams.
* Proficiency in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, data mapping, validation, cleansing, and transformation.
* Experience creating DMS and FMD documents, knowledge of SAP data structures, SQL, and migration tools.
* Proven project management experience, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
