**Characterization of novel Quantum Materials**
**Materials Physics Center (Donostia / San Sebastián)**
The** Nanophysics Lab** at CFM is offering a postdoctoral position (2 months) starting on 01
May 2025 to work with Dr. M. Gobbi. The position will focus on the optical characterization
of van der Waals materials and intercalation compounds integrated in quantum devices.
The positions will be funded by the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa through the project
“Unconventional Superconductivity and ultrathin Josephson junctions in intercalation
compounds”, a Gipuzkoa QUANTUM project (2024-QUAN-000014-01). The selected
salary will be of 2.970,87 € per month before taxes.
The Nanophysics Lab at the Center of Materials Physics explores the use of hybrid organic
- inorganic materials for advanced electronics, and in particular quantum computing. Current
research topics in the group include the synthesis of intercalation compounds and the
characterization of their physical properties, focusing on magnetism and superconductivity.
