Job Description
We are looking to hire a Sales Director to join our team in Madrid, leading the Hygiene Business in Spain, reporting to the Managing Director.
This person will focus on accelerating growth and achieving goals in Spain, leading a team of 4 direct reports and a salesforce of around 40 people, with potential to expand the team if needed.
Main responsibilities
The Sales Director will :
* Create, define, and implement the company's commercial strategy in collaboration with the General Manager.
* Define business objectives and KPIs; design strategies with the team to achieve them.
* Establish pricing policies, sales conditions, and channels based on customer needs and consumption habits, adapting company policies to the local market.
* Identify business opportunities and promote synergies between customers and the company to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
* Oversee sales activities within the region.
* Manage and supervise Sales Managers and the salesforce, designing and implementing the commercial department structure, and working to minimize turnover.
Qualifications
Main requirements
* 5+ years of experience in a Sales Management role.
* Experience managing high budgets and delivering sales results.
* Experience leading Sales Managers and sales teams.
* Experience in sales strategic management and KPI setting.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Bachelor’s Degree or MBA (Economics or Business Administration preferred but not essential).

* Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
* Pragmatic, capable of translating concepts into action.
* Strong communication skills across different company areas.
* Proficiency in Office applications.
* Experience in service companies is a plus.
