We are looking for a new team member to join as Maintenance Engineer at Tetra Pak Iberia. The position primarily covers Cataluña, Aragón, and Baleares islands, with responsibilities extending to the rest of Spain, Portugal, Azores islands, and occasionally Angola and Cape Verde.
Your main duties will include delivering high-quality technical services and supporting customers by resolving issues effectively and satisfactorily. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and gain experience in mechanics, electronics, and automation by servicing client sites. It is ideal for those early in their careers eager to expand their expertise within a market-leading company.
The role requires extensive travel, more than 80% of the time. It is a permanent position with 2 vacancies available.
Job Description Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:
* Install and commission Packaging Equipment at customer sites.
* Perform PLC and HMI programming.
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
* Troubleshoot and resolve faults onsite and remotely.
* Supervise production and train operators at customer sites.
* Maintain positive relationships with customers, supporting and following up on their concerns.
Candidate Profile
We believe you have:
* A technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering.
* 1-2 years’ experience in electro-mechanical and pneumatic industrial maintenance.
* Experience with PLC, electrical, and electronic systems.
* Programming skills in Siemens S7-300 / TIA portal.
* Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Beckhoff automation software is a plus.
* Ability to repair machines onsite.
* Willingness to travel extensively (over 80%).
* Fluent Spanish and good English skills (reporting is essential).
* A valid driving license.
* Proficiency in MS Office and good computer skills.
* Customer-oriented and results-driven attitude.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
