Markem-Imaje delivers fully integrated solutions that enable product quality and safety, regulatory and retailer compliance, better product recalls, and improved manufacturing processes.As a member of the PI Helpdesk (Packaging Intelligence), you will be part of an international team providing remote software support for customized labeling, coding, and traceability solutions. These solutions integrate with ERP systems and production line equipment in industries such as Food & Beverages, Pharma, and Consumer Goods.Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for software-related support requests from regional and international customers.Troubleshoot technical issues in custom applications and provide accurate, timely resolutions.Utilize and develop knowledge of tools such as VB.NET, SQL, and industrial communication protocols (e.G., OPC / PLC) to analyze and resolve incidents.Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through proactive and clear communication.Handle support cases via phone, email, and ticketing system while meeting SLA expectations.Collaborate with global colleagues (Support, Engineering, Project Management) to investigate and resolve complex issues.Document and maintain case information and support knowledge base for continuous improvement.Maintain up-to-date technical skills through training, hands-on work, and collaboration.Identify and prioritize issues effectively.Perform other duties as needed within the team.Requirements:
Technical education or relevant experience in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related fields.At least 2 years of experience in software support and/or development.Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities remotely.Experience with VB.NET, C#, or other programming languages.Familiarity with database query languages and understanding of networking and server-client architectures.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across software, databases, and industrial environments.Experience in industrial environments or production systems is a plus.Proficiency in English (spoken and written);
Spanish is a plus.Flexibility to work in shifts (morning and afternoon) and be on call occasionally during weekends (approximately every 7-9 weeks, with compensation).What We Offer:
