What You Will Do
* Technical Execution: Drive end‐to‐end delivery of complex data transformation projects, from analysis and data extraction to system validation and go‐live support. Configure and run SAP DMLT tools to execute migrations in diverse SAP environments. Apply technical developer skills, enhancing existing tooling and contributing to cloud‐based development on the backend and frontend.
* Design & Architect Solutions: Analyze customer needs for data consolidation and harmonization, perform feasibility studies for scenarios such as system merges, carve‐outs, or selective data transition. Design the best technical architecture using the DMLT portfolio and modern SAP technology.
* Collaborate and Guide: Function as a trusted technical advisor, leading customer workshops to confirm designs, and building strong relationships with engagement architects, offshore delivery teams, and client stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Innovation and Mentor: Develop deep ability in SAP data models (FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, PM, etc.) and contribute to the internal knowledge base. Document best practices, find automation opportunities, and help scale the team by mentoring peers.
What You Bring
* Core Experience: 3–5 years of technical experience in SAP consulting, with a strong preference for data migration, transformation, or landscape optimisation projects.
* Proven Project Delivery: Direct involvement in at least two end‐to‐end SAP data migration projects covering design to cutover, or developer experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, and SAP UI5.
* Experience with System Consolidation: Experience with system consolidation or merge scenarios is a significant asset.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models, practical experience in SAP ABAP development (debugging, performance optimisation, interface implementation).
* Tooling Expertise: Experience with SAP Data Migration tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services (BODS), or SAP Migration Workbench.
* Emerging SAP Technologies: Familiarity with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP AI capabilities, or SAP CAP model.
* Process Understanding: Across core business areas such as Lead‐to‐Cash, Procure‐to‐Pay, Design‐to‐Operate, or Hire‐to‐Retire.
* Business Acumen & Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value. Experience working in international, cross‐functional teams is a plus.
* Mindset: Customer‐focused, purposeful, initiative‐taking approach with a willingness to travel occasionally within your region or internationally.
* Languages: English mandatory; Spanish and Portuguese desired.
Location and Work Model
Full‐time position – SAP hybrid work model: 3 days per week in the SAP office or on‐site with customers/partners. Job location: Barcelona or Madrid, Spain.
