Overview
They are looking for a Principal Avionics Systems Architect to design and certify
data-link and interface architectures
for UAV/eVTOL platforms, ensuring
deterministic behavior, fault tolerance, and compliance with ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160
throughout the V-model lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Define avionics data architecture and interface control documents (ICDs) across CAN, UART, Ethernet, MAVLink, and RF links.
* Lead certification activities and safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA, FMEA, FTA).
* Oversee integration, wiring diagrams, harness definitions, and V&V (bench/HIL/SIL, RF link testing).
Required Skills
* Proven experience in UAV/eVTOL avionics systems architecture.
* Strong knowledge of ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160.
* Hands-on with data-link protocols and avionics interfaces.
