Do you have a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and a deep understanding of public sector procurement? ALTEN is looking for a Bid Manager to lead strategic tendering activities in the IT sector for EU institutions.
In this role, you will support the selection of relevant tenders, define and implement bidding strategies, and coordinate the end-to-end process for large-scale projects. You will manage proposal preparation with internal teams and external partners, review key technical content, monitor progress via KPIs, and report directly to the Director of EU Institutions management.
We're looking for someone with strong expertise in strategic planning, project and proposal management, deep knowledge of the IT sector, and experience working in an international environment. Identify and assess suitable IT services tenders from EU Institutions
Coordinate the full bidding process for large tenders
Review and refine key technical content
Provide regular updates and insights to senior management
5+ years of experience managing tenders with EU institutions
Proven track record of successfully delivering large EU tenders with international partners and consortia
Excellent communication, planning, and proposal management skills
Professional level of English (spoken and written)
