Youll join a large-scale cloud transformation programme focused on modernising critical platform capabilities across a global organisation
* 📍 Hybrid | Madrid or UK
* 💡 Senior / Staff level (+5 years of experience)
* 💰 Up to 85k (higher salaries can be considered according profile)
What Youll Work On
* Building and evolving cloud-native platform capabilities on AWS
* Developing and operating event-driven systems using Kafka
* Provisioning infrastructure through Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
* Improving platform reliability, scalability, and observability
* Debugging complex production issues across distributed systems
* Automating platform operations and deployment workflows
* Enabling engineering teams through platform tooling and self-service capabilities
* Working closely with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery velocity
Tech Stack
* Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes
* Streaming & Messaging: Kafka, Confluent Platform, Confluent Cloud
* Programming: Python, SQL
* AWS Services: EKS, Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, MemoryDB
What Were Looking For
* Strong AWS experience in production environments
* Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
* Experience provisioning infrastructure with Terraform
* Strong Python skills
* Experience building and operating distributed systems
* Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
* Platform Engineering mindset
* Experience improving reliability, observability, and operational excellence
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of technical delivery
