We’re looking for a Web Product Analytics Specialist to join a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation. With a presence in over 60 countries and more than 20,000 employees worldwide, they are scaling our Digital Hub in Barcelona, focusing on B2B e-commerce, digital sales, and analytics.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the analytical strategy of a complex, high-traffic platform used by hundreds of thousands of customers globally — and to define how data drives product decisions.
🧭 Key responsibilities:
* Design and maintain the web analytics infrastructure, ensuring accurate tracking across all features.
* Define and implement tracking standards — what to measure, how to tag, and why it matters.
* Act as the data ambassador within the product team, collaborating with other Product Owners.
* Manage the tagging system (Google Tag Manager or similar) and support migration to new analytics tools.
* Train and support global users of the analytics platform.
* Collaborate with A/B testing teams to ensure proper measurement and alignment with KPIs.
* Work closely with Marketing to analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements.
* Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across the business.
* 22–25 vacation days per year.

📌 Technical requirements
* Solid experience with web analytics tools, such as GA4, Adobe Analytics, Matomo, Piwik PRO, or similar.
* Advanced knowledge of Tag Management Systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Tealium), including setup, maintenance, and debugging.
* Strong understanding of digital tracking principles: custom events, variables, data layers, UTM parameters, etc.
* Proven experience in implementing or migrating analytics platforms during website transitions or rebuilds.
* Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively collaborate with development teams.
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, particularly in digital product or website development environments.
* Experience with A/B testing and personalization tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize), especially related to tracking setup and validation.

* Ability to translate business requirements into tracking specifications, and vice versa.
* Understanding of key digital marketing KPIs (e.g., conversions, funnels, retention).
* Experience measuring the impact of product features or marketing campaigns through data.
* Ability to define, document, and enforce tracking standards and data governance rules.
🤝 Interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Skilled at acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders (e.g., Product Owners, Marcom, Marketing, Analytics).
* Strong communication skills for training and supporting global users of analytics tools.
* Proactive mindset to promote data culture and drive adoption of analytics best practices.
